C. TOM ARKOOSH, J.D., was raised on a cattle and sheep ranch in south-central Idaho, and  is licensed to practice law before state courts and agencies of Idaho and Washington,  federal courts in Idaho, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. His areas of practice embrace a wide variety of disciplines in civil, commercial, criminal, natural resources and water law, and administrative law. He is also active in public affairs work and serves as a lobbyist in Boise, Idaho.

Mr. Arkoosh graduated from Harvard College in government and economics with a B.A. degree and obtained his J.D. from the University Of Idaho College Of Law. Following law school, Mr. Arkoosh served as Idaho’s first law clerk/bailiff in the United States Federal Court system, for the Honorable Ray McNichols, and instituted a training program for Idaho College of Law students.  He has served as the Gem County Prosecuting Attorney,  and general counsel for the Ida-Ore Development Corporation.

Mr. Arkoosh was the founding partner of Arkoosh Law Offices in Gooding and Boise and is a founding partner of the Capitol Law Group. He is a practicing member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel  and serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Defenders of Idaho.   Both of these organizations provide defense work in the federal court system. 

Mr. Arkoosh has extensive experience in litigation of commercial, construction, business tort, criminal, water, and natural resource cases.
