Skip Sperry

Skip graduated cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law.  He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1993, and he was a Charter member Idaho State Bar Employment and Labor Law Section.   Skip has also been a member of American Bar Association, Employment and Labor Law Section; Idaho State Bar and American Bar Association Business Law Sections; a charter member of the National Labor Relations Board Regional Advisory Committee; and Editor of the Idaho Employment and Labor Law Newsletter.

In 1993, Skip joined the IEC Group, a human resources association with over 850 employer/members across the United States.  As the Chief Compliance Attorney, he represented employers in various employment-related claims from OSHA, Wage & Hour, and NLRB claims to discrimination, and unemployment.  He also taught hundreds of employment law and human resources classes.

In 2000, Skip moved to SCP Global Technologies, Inc., a $200 million technology supplier to the semi-conductor industry, as the company’s in-house counsel and corporate secretary.  He was responsible for all legal matters including contracting, corporate formation and dissolution, employment and labor, merger and acquisition, intellectual property, and corporate governance.

Skip joined Munther Goodrum Sperry, Chtd. in 2004 where he assisted clients in banking, real estate, and employment and labor matters.

In September 2008, Skip joined Capitol Law Group where his practice focuses on employment and labor, general business and corporate, and real estate matters.
